Frequently asked questions

What can we help you with today? Below are the questions our Canadian support desk fields most often, answered plainly. If yours is not here, the contact page reaches a human being at any hour.

Once your subscription is active, you load your credentials into the IBO Player application. It runs on Smart TVs, Android boxes, phones, tablets, Windows and Mac, so whatever is already under your television will almost certainly work. One subscription authorises one device at a time. The full walkthrough lives in our setup guide.

Yes. Our technical support desk is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays and playoff nights. Send a message from the contact page and a real person picks it up — typically within fifteen minutes.

Nothing on your side. Our activation team verifies the payment and builds your line, then replies on WhatsApp with your credentials and the setup steps matching the device you told us about. Most orders are live within fifteen minutes. If our reply is not on WhatsApp, check the spam folder before worrying.

Yes, and well beyond it. KemoTivi is delivered over the open internet rather than a cable plant, so any stable connection anywhere in the country reaches our servers — including rural Ontario, the Prairies and Northern communities where cable never arrived. Travelling subscribers keep their line abroad too.

Quality of service in IPTV is decided at the network layer, not in marketing copy. Most elements of an IP network exist to control it: we prioritise video packets, manage fragmentation and monitor delay across every node. That is how the picture stays steady through peak evening traffic, and it is the measure on which we happily invite comparison with any provider on the market.

We operate roughly 2,000 load-balanced nodes across 198 countries, running anti-freeze delivery with a measured 99.9% uptime. If a node degrades, traffic is shifted to the next healthy one before you see a buffering wheel. Canadian traffic is served from North-Eastern edges to keep latency low.

As long as you want. Terms run 1, 3, 6 or 12 months alongside the CA$10.99 intro month, and you renew whenever you choose — nothing bills you automatically. Compare the effective monthly rates on the pricing page.

No. You connect to KemoTivi servers over your existing internet line. There is no dish to mount, no receiver to rent and no technician visit to schedule. If your internet works, your television works.

A stable 16 Mbps handles HD comfortably. For consistent 4K we recommend 25 Mbps or more. Stability matters more than headline speed: a steady 20 Mbps line delivers a cleaner picture than a spiky 100 Mbps one, and a wired connection always beats weak Wi-Fi during a live match.

Samsung and LG Smart TVs, Android phones, tablets, boxes and Android TV, the Amazon Fire TV Stick, Windows PCs, Macs, and MAG or STB set-top boxes. Every one of them runs through IBO Player, which is the only application we support — a deliberate choice that keeps troubleshooting fast and predictable.

One. Each KemoTivi subscription authorises a single device at a time. If a second screen is needed, order a second subscription — or ask the desk to re-point your existing line to new hardware, which we do free of charge.

Yes — the Try 1 Month plan at CA$10.99. It is a genuine paid month on the same production servers as every other plan, not a throttled sample line, so what you judge is exactly what a twelve-month subscriber gets.
